Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Lawdee Legal A.I. Platform, the legal services platform operated by Lawdee Co., Ltd. at lawdee.ai and through the Lawdee LINE Official Account. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you”, “User”) and Lawdee Co., Ltd. (“Lawdee”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Thailand. By clicking “Create account”, signing in with your LINE account, or otherwise accessing the Lawdee Legal A.I. Platform at lawdee.ai or through the Lawdee LINE Official Account (together, the “Service”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and references to “you” include that organisation.

2. Account & Eligibility

To use the Service you must be at least 20 years of age (the age of majority under Thai law) or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, including access through your linked LINE account.

• You must notify us promptly at security@lawdee.ai of any suspected unauthorised access.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to any third party without our written consent.
• Lawyers who register a professional account must hold a valid lawyer licence issued under the Lawyers Act B.E. 2528 and must keep their licence details accurate. We may verify licence status with the Lawyers Council of Thailand and may suspend professional accounts that fail verification.

3. The Service

The Lawdee Legal A.I. Platform is a two-sided legal services platform that provides (a) an A.I. legal advisor that answers legal questions with references to Thai law, running on models hosted on Lawdee’s own infrastructure, (b) a legal knowledge base, (c) tools for recording and tracking your legal matters, including limitation-period (อายุความ) reminders, and (d) features for finding and booking independent lawyers. The Service is offered on a freemium basis: core features are free and enhanced features require a paid subscription.

We may change, add, or remove features over time. Material changes that adversely affect a paying subscriber will be communicated with reasonable notice.

4. Not Legal Advice; No Lawyer-Client Relationship

Lawdee is a technology platform, not a law firm, and does not practise law. Output of the A.I. legal advisor is general legal information based on published Thai law and is not legal advice. Your use of the Service does not create a lawyer-client relationship between you and Lawdee.

Lawyers available through the Service are independent professionals, not employees or agents of Lawdee. Any engagement you enter into with a lawyer is between you and that lawyer, and the professional duties owed to you (including confidentiality and conflict-of-interest rules) are governed by the Lawyers Act B.E. 2528 and the regulations of the Lawyers Council of Thailand.

For any decision with legal consequences, consult a licensed lawyer.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to allow any third party to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or harmful purpose.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, model weights, or prompts of the Service, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
• Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, infringes another party’s intellectual property, or violates any applicable data-protection or export-control law.
• Use the Service to develop a competing product, or to train, fine-tune, or benchmark another A.I. model.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or attempt to bypass any rate limit, quota, authentication, or security mechanism.
• Upload personal data of another person without lawful authority, or sensitive personal data other than as needed for your own legal matter and in compliance with applicable law.
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false information to lawyers on the platform.

6. Your Content & Data

You retain all right, title, and interest in the questions, documents, case details, and other content you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). You grant Lawdee a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, transmit, process, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you, to maintain its security and integrity, and to comply with law.

We do not use Your Content to train any general-purpose A.I. model. The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Data residency. Your Content is stored and processed in Thailand. The A.I. legal advisor runs on self-hosted models on infrastructure located in Thailand; Your Content is not sent to overseas model providers.

7. A.I. Output & Limitations

The A.I. legal advisor generates output based on probabilistic models and a curated corpus of Thai law. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and the law may have changed since the corpus was last updated. Where possible the advisor cites the sections and decisions it relies on so that you can verify them. You are responsible for evaluating output before acting on it and must not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a licensed lawyer.

Subject to the licence in section 6, you own the output generated for you, to the extent permitted by law. You acknowledge that other users may receive similar output for similar questions.

8. Lawyer Bookings & Fees

Where the Service lets you book a consultation with a lawyer, Lawdee acts as a booking and payment facilitator only. The consultation contract is formed between you and the lawyer. Consultation fees, cancellation windows, and any refund conditions are shown at the time of booking. Lawdee may charge the lawyer a platform fee; this does not increase the price shown to you.

9. Subscriptions & Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance at the prices shown in the app, inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated or as required by law. We may change subscription pricing on at least 30 days’ notice, effective from your next renewal. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by our payment provider; Lawdee does not store your full card details.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, models, branding, the legal knowledge base, and documentation, is and remains the property of Lawdee and its licensors. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service during your subscription term and in accordance with these Terms. Feedback you provide may be used by Lawdee on a perpetual, royalty-free basis to improve the Service.

11. Warranties & Disclaimers

Lawdee warrants that it will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly set out, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lawdee disclaims all other warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, arising out of or related to these Terms, even if advised of the possibility. Lawdee’s aggregate liability under these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Lawdee is not liable for the acts or omissions of independent lawyers you engage through the Service; this does not affect any rights you have against that lawyer. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold Lawdee harmless from any third-party claim arising from (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or applicable law, or (c) your infringement of any third party’s rights.

14. Term & Termination

These Terms apply from the day you first accept them and continue until terminated. You may close your account at any time. Either party may terminate for material breach if the breach is not cured within 30 days of written notice. We may suspend or terminate the Service immediately for non-payment, security incidents, or violations of section 5.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Lawdee will make Your Content available for export for 30 days, after which it may be deleted from active systems. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive termination.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be notified by email or LINE message and surfaced in-app at your next sign-in. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
